14/05/2014| The Spanish Juanola production plant obtains ISO 22000 certification

The plant producing Juanola, the famous Spanish brand of balsamic tablets, founded way back in 1906, has obtained ISO 22000 certification, the highest and most prestigious international standard related to food safety.
Standard ISO 22000 was published in 2005 in order to harmonise the previous food safety standards; it can be obtained by all operators in the food sector whether directly or indirectly involved in the production of foods.

The ISO 22000 certification is an addition to the ISO 9001 certification already held by the Juanola production plant.

The ISO 9001 standards were established to outline the requirements for quality management systems in firms. They are general and flexible standards that can apply to a wide range of business processes and sectors. Possession of certification proves that the work of the firm reflects the minimum requirements of the regulations in question; the end customer can thus be fully confident that the services and products being marketed comply with certain specifications and that all the phases related to their production are traceable and verifiable.

Conformity with international standards ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 confirms the absolute importance attributed by Angelini to every single aspect of its work, with the aim of guaranteeing maximum quality of both product and service to every customer and consumer.
