Rosita Calabrese is the new Country Manager Italy

Rome, 2 July 2020 - Rosita Calabrese is the new Country Manager Italy of Angelini Pharma. In her role she will report to CEO Pierluigi Antonelli and will be part of the Executive Leadership Team, the Company's Steering Committee. She succeeds Fabio De Luca who in recent months had already taken on the new role of Global Marketing Pharma.

Calabrese has over twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in multinational companies such as Abbott, Pfizer and AstraZeneca, covering roles of great responsibility both in Italy and abroad.

During her career she has been responsible for the development and launch of successful products in various therapeutic areas such as oncology, vaccines, hemophilia, HIV, cardiovascular, CNS, antibiotics and others. She has managed both Specialty and Primary Care Business Units, and various departments supporting the business. During her time abroad she first managed a global transformation as Launch Capabilities Director and then as AstraZeneca's Europe/Canada Sales Director she managed a portfolio of biological respiratory and inhalation products.

With a degree in Chemistry, Rosita Calabrese obtained a Masters in Marketing Management from Istud in 2002 and a Finance for Executive Course from INSEAD in 2011.
